Best of Salvage 2014 #10 Sliding Doors

I wanted to review all the salvage projects we did this year as a way to look back at 2014. They are listed in chronological order, not as my favorite. Please comment if you have a favorite!

#10 Sliding Door

This project started as a need to create more room in our living room and to get rid of a hideous old 1970s hollow core door. We got a lovely old panel pass through door at the Rebuilding Center in Portland for $15. I sanded and painted it white to match the walls. We got the sliding hardware at the Home Depot for $120. This project was an easy install and has had a huge impact in creating more space and improving the overall aesthetics of the room. Based on cost & impact, I give it an A salvage grade.
