My love of French Toast makes me try new and different toppings but never waiver from the super easy basic toast. My recipe is simple-2 eggs, splash of milk, cinnamon and vanilla to taste- mix well & dip bread (I use Dave’s Killer Bread- a healthy Portland based bread) until it is moist. Pan fry in a little tab of butter to carmelize. Now comes the fun part- my current favorite topping is to take Greek yogurt to frost the toast & cover with fresh raspberries. Warm some real maple syrup and pour over fruit & yogurt. Enjoy the easiest and healthiest French Toast ever. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes with cooking and it is low fat and full of fiber & protein.
